Instantly, we connected as we both share a passion for holistic skincare and hold similar views on proper skin care practices. Katia had a wealth of knowledge to offer, and I was so impressed that I decided to ask her to create a basic skin care video to share her expertise with others. Katia, the owner of the boutique, has been running her shop for the past 30 years. Before her venture into the skincare industry, she was a comedian and used to wear thick, full-body makeup as part of her profession. Interestingly, she discovered that oil was the most effective way to remove the makeup from her skin. This experience inspired her to create her own skin oils. Intrigued by the world of natural remedies, she pursued studies in phytotherapy and aromatherapy, deepening her knowledge of plant-based and aromatic therapies for skincare.
